The program is intended to disseminate knowledge regarding national and international affairs. The program encompasses range of subjects varying from diplomacy to politics, and peace studies to arms control. Thus preparing students for leadership positions and successful careers in bureaucracy, NGOs, Foreign Services, academia and government. Development of concrete concepts and professional skills regarding National and International Politics through high quality class teaching and research work, is the aim of this degree program.
Objectives
International Relations department would foster interdisciplinary education, scholarship and community of outreach by: Attracting new students to the study of international relations. Supporting collaborative research on contemporary IR issues. Providing opportunities for scholars and practitioners of IR to visit and interact. With students and the community.

Eligibility Criteria
12 years of education (Intermediate or equivalent) with at least 45% marks, in case of O/A Levels, equivalence from IBCC shall be required.
